Parenthood is momentous!

Parenthood is a lifelong journey of nurturing and supporting one or more human beings from birth to adulthood. It is a life changing experience as it affects how you will think and feel in every aspect of your life. Therefore a decision to have a child is indeed a BIG one! Be prepared for surprises...good or not so good!

As you enter into this fabulous journey of parenthood either through pregnancy or through adoption it is a transition into a new phase in your life...most profound transition! For the transition to occur smoothly one has to make room for the child not just in the sense of physical space but in your own mind and heart.

Experts recommend that before you start rearranging the furniture start thinking of the new child and prepare yourself psychologically. Gradually move from psychological to practical preparation of making necessary room arrangements to welcome your new child.
