What to expect from your toddler & a two year old?
During this phase in life your toddler becomes increasingly aware of
her body and recognizes her abilities to do things and thus starts
experimenting. Identity becomes dominant at ths age. Neurological and
brain development are very rapid during this phase. Due to little
experience and high curiosity toddlers land themselves in risky
situations and thus are more prone to accidents and injuries.
Experts recommend that at this stage parents provide stimulating
environment to
their toddler and two year old that supports their
child's individuality, giving choices whenever possible.
Most importantly provide a safe environment so that the word "No" is
used only occassionally by adults.
