Selecting toys for your baby:
Babies explore their world around them using their senses which means they will put toys in their mouth, toss them, shake them.
|
|
|
Appropriate toys for babies are those:
- that are not too small that the baby can swallow. Consider keeping a "No Choke Tube" handy to ensure that a toy is not too small for your baby.
- that are light-weight for easy handling by a baby.
- that are washable, has no sharp edges and made of nontoxic materials.
- that have no parts that come off easily or use batteries to operate.
- that make noise.
